These keep your session active while you move between your dashboard, orders and wallet, remember whether you are signed in as a freelancer or a client, protect forms against cross-site request forgery and let our payment provider complete a checkout securely. Without them the marketplace cannot work, so they are always on.

These remember choices such as your last category filter or the dashboard tab you were on, so the site behaves the way you left it.

Where enabled, these tell us how many people view a gig, which pages are used most and where people drop out of an order, in aggregate. We use this to improve the marketplace, not to build advertising profiles.

Our payment provider and our hosting and authentication providers may set their own cookies when you sign in or pay. Their use of those cookies is covered by their own policies.

Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and clear site storage. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and stop checkout and payouts from working. Where we ask for consent to non-essential cookies, you can change your mind at any time.
